Calibration plates are precision components that control sintered stone thickness. Installation and adjustment quality directly determines product dimensional accuracy. Incorrect installation can cause thickness deviations beyond tolerance, leading to entire batch rejections.
Step 1 — Positioning: Place the calibration plate between the top and bottom rollers, center it, and pre-tighten with mounting bolts.
Step 2 — Parallelism Calibration: Use feeler gauges to measure the clearance difference between the plate and rollers. Adjust left and right mounting bolts until the difference is ≤0.03mm.
Step 3 — Thickness Measurement: Insert standard thickness gauges (2mm/3mm/6mm/9mm/12mm) and confirm readings within ±0.1mm of standard values.
Step 4 — Trial Run: Run empty for 10 minutes, then re-measure to confirm parallelism stability under thermal conditions.
GDNOS calibration plates use high-strength alloy steel with precision-ground surfaces achieving parallelism tolerance of ±0.01mm, effectively improving board thickness consistency and reducing scrap rates.
